The Dawes Discovery range is one of the most populr hybrid ranges around and there are a few good reasons for this. The Discovery 601 has all the great lightweight features of the 501 including the Dynamism alloy frame and aero-bladed carbon forks. Added extras include the Shimano Deore LX rear derailleur and awesome stopping power with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes.
