For cars with a spare wheel mounted on the rear door such as 4X4, you may need a rack that fits on the spare wheel. Safe and secure but this system can only carry maximum of 2 bikes.

The Idaho main frame is constructed using 30mm steel tubes for added strength, fully assembled and with a drop down tray for the bikes wheels to fit into this makes for an easy fitting rack. The rack framework fits directly onto the tyre itself and secures with heavy duty straps and ratchet buckles. The bike wheel channels can be adjusted to centralise the bikes on your vehicle, and the bikes are secured to the framework for easy transportation. Carries a maximum of 2 bikes, the combined weight of the bikes should not exceed 30kg. We recommend that if you have covered up your vehicle number plate and lights then you fit an additional light board to comply with road vehicle lighting laws.
